It seems that Oprah Winfrey has started her own seminary.
Well, no, that’s not exactly true. But she is offering a 10 week seminar on her spirituality of choice. According to this brand of spirituality there is no need for a Messiah, because there is no sin. There is no need to worship a Holy God who claims exclusive rights to our worship because He is “jealous” and God should not be “jealous.” So while some of us would recommend a chapter by chapter review of Scripture to prove or disprove those ideas, Ms. Winfrey has offered a chapter by chapter review of a book by Eckhart Tolle.
