With the advent of TV, Internet and radio, I really don’t understand the need for a candidate to go from diner to diner shaking hands. I know everything I need to know about Thompson from his record and his policy statements, what more do you need? A kiss on your baby’s cheek? A “hey how are you doing? How are those eggs?”
