Newsweek did a story on Cameron’s evidence and I blogged about it here. I also found an interview of the archaeologist who was in charge of the Talpiot tomb and he had this to say:

The name “Jesus son of Joseph” has been found on three or four ossuaries. These are common names. There were huge headlines in the 1940s surrounding another Jesus ossuary, cited as the first evidence of Christianity. There was another Jesus tomb. Months later it was dismissed. Give me scientific evidence, and I’ll grapple with it. But this is manufactured.

I think Christianity will survive this latest attempt to destroy it’s most fundamental tenant, that Jesus rose from the dead and sits on the right hand of God, making intercession for his people.
