Both Don Knotts and Darren McGavin died this weekend. There are many stars from my youth that have recently dropped out of sight, and aren’t really heard from anymore. Don Knotts was one of them, I’m sorry to say that I thought he was already dead. I really loved The Incredible Mr. Limpet and I think it should be remade; with today’s technology, the underwater sequences could be realistic instead of cartoonish. I also liked The Shakiest Gun in the West. And of course Darren McGavin in The Night Stalker and The Christmas Story. Let’s pray for their families during their time of mourning.
