This August, I kicked off the AWAKEN series at Woodmen Valley Chapel in Colorado Springs. Here is the video from that message.

I gave this message in conjunction with a week-long showing of “In Their Shoes: An Orphan Experience.” Designed as a tool to protect girls from sex trafficking and rescue those already trapped, “In Their Shoes” is a multimedia art exhibit that uses video, photos, and authentic artifacts recovered from the field.

What is an artifact? Our teams recover actual items from the places where children were trafficked and rescued. It is a powerful exhibit, and I will be on a limited engagement speaking tour in 2011 in bring the Experience around the country.

This is an excellent way to bring sex trafficking awareness to your church community, and help them to “do something.” All donations received support the prevention, rescue, and aftercare initiatives of Children’s HopeChest.

At Woodmen, the Experience raised thousands of dollars to combat sex slavery through the ministry of HopeChest. Your church could be next.
