Obama signed legislation expanding the State Children’s Health Insurance
Program today that will provide health care coverage for the 9 million
uninsured American children.  A faith based community
organization coalition called PICO National Network gets much of the credit for
moving beyond partisanship and getting this passed.   This
afternoon two clergy members and two families
from the PICO Network will join President Obama at the SCHIP signing
ceremony.

This seems like such a no brainer so it is hard to believe that Bush vetoed this bill last October but fortunately real value voters prevailed in November and change has come to Washington!
