Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth—
for your love is more delightful than wine.  ~Song of Songs 1:2

*

You have forsaken the love you had at first.  Revelation 2:4

If we are going to be doers of the Word, and not just hearers only, then we had better pucker up! “Greet one another with a holy kiss” is found four times in Scripture. (Romans 16:16, 1 Corinthians 16:20, 2 Corinthians 13:12, 1 Thessalonians 5:26) Remember when kissing was a little too much fun? Before you gleefully walked down the aisle perhaps? Let’s put the romance back into our marriages! Let’s heed King Solomon’s wisdom – let’s kiss again.

This month we are praying for romance in our marriages. May the sparks fly! And let the fun begin!

Our Father,

You made marriage a parable of your love for your Church. That in itself places such a very high value on our vows. Oh, Lord, we desire to make our marriage all You have created marriage to be – joyful, full of hope, encouragement, and, of course, forgiveness and grace! So let it be. You must transform our minds to be like Yours. You must teach us the values of the Kingdom. We must understand Your sermon on the mount and all your teachings on love which always looks out for the other, not for self. So we lift our hands and receive your Holy Spirit to teach us all these principles that are created to set us free! We receive all you want to give us. Restore and renew our love, and teach us to love each other as we did at first.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen! And let it be so! And a hearty, YES!

We’ve designed a process called a Marriage Intensive that specifically focuses on renewing your vision and returning you to joy in your purpose and life together. The first step you can take is to simply learn more. This might just change your life. Click here:
