Libya appears to be in meltdown. Militia loyal to Moammar Gadhafi struck back against rebellious protesters in several cities new Tripoli, the capital today. Governmental troops attacked a mosque where many protestors had taken refuge. They also counter-attacked crowds that had seized an airport.

The assaults aim to suppress the revolts that are moving closer to Gadhafi’s bastion in Tripoli. The uprising has already succeeded in liberating the eastern half of Libya from Gadhafi’s regime.

“God, bring peaceful resolution in Libya’s revolution. Keep your hand of restraint on those who would agitate the violence. May “calm revolution” continue to grow across the Middle East. Thank you for your blessed favor. May your destiny for the Muslim world be realized!”
