“Honest scales and balances are the Lord’s;
all the weights in the bag are His work”
Proverbs 16:11
There are multiple mentions of the importance of honest business dealings in scripture. The ancient sages tell a story that when we arrive at heaven’s gate, the one question we’ll be asked is; “Did you deal honestly in business?” Honesty in business is so critical to living the morals, ethics and values of our Creator, that this one “test” is given above all others.
