The pastor gave a sermon where he talked about affirmations and getting what you want from the Lord and those around you. He said, “The main thing is repetition and I mean repetition. You must keep on saying the same thing over and over again until it sinks in. Never get tired of repeating, repeating and repeating. It really works.”
The next day the quiet and very shy church office administrator went to the office of the Pastor.
“How can I help you?” he asked.
She replied, “A raise, a raise, a raise, a raise, a raise, a raise.”
