kick in the tush club 1:2 logoHelloooooo Tushkateers!

How are you on this fine mid-June day?  I am well, and awake; even energized!  I’ve been decluttering (again and again still), tossing like mad.  Letting go of “stuff” and things; and the more I toss, the lighter and freer I feel.

My windowsill is clear (again)–clear sailing for the eye to travel south and west along the skyline, which prompted me to invite the Universe in, about an hour ago.

“Hello, Universe,” I said,  “The sill is clear, the air is clean; feel free to enter.  Bring light, love, experiences of joy! Sustainable happiness, if you will; if you could be so kind.”  And now, I wait…and wonder.  What will happen “now” that would not have with “clutter” in its way?

The last time I invited the Universe in, mysteriously the American Diabetes Association reached out and invited me to speak at their annual event, which I did, which was grand and much appreciated.  That doesn’t mean that I expect the same or have a particular thing in mind; any miracle will do!  I am open!!!

I’m just wondering, too, if you (yes, YOU!) realize just how much the clutter your home affects you.   It’s only when we start to clear and organize our space that we begin to realize how much better it feels, both physically, mentally and emotionally.

Clutter = Tired and Lethargic

When you clear your space (home, car, office – any physical space in which you spend a good deal of your time), without question the stagnant energy clears and a new strength and energy surges through your body.

Clutter = Stuck in the Past

When your physical environments are filled with clutter, there is no room for anything new to come into your life.  Your thoughts tend to dwell in the past.  You are “stuck” in the old problems, the ones that have dogged you for sometime.  Clearing the clutter allows you to deal with the old problems and helps you to move forward.  You must release the past to create a better tomorrow.

Clutter = Excess Body Weight

More often than not, when I mention clutter to a coaching clients, Tushkateers or workshop attendees, the bells and whistles begin to go off!  There is most definitely a correlation between clutter and being overweight.

Both excess weight a.k.a. body fat and clutter are forms of self-protection. These layers of fat or clutter appear to cushion us from the emotional earthquakes and after shocks of life!  The clutter appears to protect, but it does not!  You have a false sense of being able to control things.  It is an illusion.

Clutter = Shame and Isolation

Some of us have reached a point where our homes are so cluttered and such a mess that we are afraid and ashamed to invite people over.

Clutter = Confusion

When clutter exists, it is impossible to have clarity about what you are doing in your life. When you begin to clear your clutter, you will find that it is one of the greatest tools that allow you to discover and manifest the life you want.

Are you ready to declutter?  If yes, declare it to be so and post your declutter pledge on Our Lady’s Facebook / Kick in the Tush Club page!

Enjoy!

Spread the word–NOT the icing!
