“Genius begins great works; labor alone finishes them.” ~ Joseph Joubert

Ought oh!!!!  How genius am I if I begin great works but don’t finish them?

When we say that we are going to do something (like ‘get healthy’ or ‘lose weight’), we not only set our energy into motion, but we unofficially promise ourselves that we are going to “do,” “change,” and “achieve” something.

I say ‘unofficially promise,’ because we don’t use the promise word.  We get an idea, a wave of enthusiasm washes over us and we say, “Yes! I’ll do that!!!”

Sometimes our enthusiasm wanes.  It’s important that we chose not only our words wisely, but our promises too.  Do not make a promise to yourself unless you are 100% committed to seeing it through to its end (or yours!).

Unfulfilled promises to self are betrayals of the worst kind.
You need to know that you can count on you!

Take the pledge:

I ________________ pledge to not only have genius ideas, but to put these genius ideas and thoughts into motion and then follow through until they are finished, or I am, whichever comes first!

I pledge that I can count on me!!!

Spread the word … NOT the icing!
