Dear Our Lady of the Hair Trigger …

May that tired old tape that plays in my head –
the one that triggers me
into mindless pursuit
of chips, chocolate, and other sinner’s delights,

be permanently erased!!!

And replaced …
… by a soft, gentle breeze that whispers

“luscious fruit.”
