There is only one way to happiness and that is to cease worrying about things which are beyond the power of our will. ~ Epictetus

I happened while searching for happiness on the Internet (where else would you look for happiness or anything else for that matter), hoping to order me some and have it delivered in time for Christmas, I stumbled upon The Secret Society of Happy People.
The Secret Society of Happy People was formed in 1998, and it is their purpose “to encourage the expression of happiness and discourage parade-raining.” Parade-rainers are those people who ‘rain on your parade,’ who don’t want to hear your happy news

It is their mission to help people to recognize ‘happiness’ (like sometimes it’s staring you right in the face, but you’re too fixated on being unhappy to notice it). A side benefit from being happy is that happiness is contagious. The more people who talk about being happy, who spread good happy cheer, the more people will be happy.
The Society encourages you, when happy – to let someone know. Because I am 100% happy, right now, in this moment, I’ll give it a go. Are you ready? I’m about to share my happiness with you!
From ME to YOU: “I am happy (for no particular reason).” There! I am happy and I shared it with you.
Please share your happiness below. Let it ripple out into the Universe!
Spread the word … NOT the icing,
