The Atlantic has (finally) brought back the informal video podcast discussions between two of my very favorite bloggers, Andrew Sullivan and Marc Ambinder. Sullivan, as you may know, ranks among the most-visited single-author blogs in the galaxy and Ambinder, as you may not, is a top-notch political journalist with a very even-handed tone. They’re perfectly complementary, really – Sullivan is an enormous personality with strong passions and a sometimes vascillating ideaology while Ambinder is the political world’s equalivalent of a quant. Sullivan is empassioned, Ambinder punctures.

This roundtable is about blogging – the tone and evolution of the creature – and they make some cogent points. I’m posting this more for my fellow bloggers than our adoring public, but if, like me, you spend a embarassing amount of time on your Google Reader, it’s fun to see blog personalities come to life.
