As tensions escalate in the Middle East between Israel and Iran, former pastor and current U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee is urging President Donald Trump to listen not to the chorus of political voices surrounding him—but to the voice of God.

Following President Trump’s early departure from the G7 Summit in Canada, speculation swirled that the president might be preparing for a bold move, possibly involving direct U.S. military involvement in the growing Israel-Iran conflict. But as the world watches, Huckabee offered the president a different kind of counsel—spiritual.

“You have many voices speaking to you, sir,” Huckabee wrote in a text shared by Trump on Truth Social, “but there is only ONE voice that matters. HIS voice.”

Huckabee, a longtime Trump ally and former Arkansas governor, emphasized that the president is in a unique position of global significance, comparing him to President Harry Truman, who first recognized the state of Israel in 1948. “No president in my lifetime has been in a position like yours,” he continued. “Not since Truman in 1945.”

The ambassador’s heartfelt message was more than just political—it was deeply personal and spiritual. Referring to the failed assassination attempt on Trump last summer in Butler, Pennsylvania, Huckabee expressed his belief that the president’s survival was no accident.

“I believe you were spared by the hand of God,” he wrote. “The decisions on your shoulders I would not want to be made by anyone else.”

In his role as ambassador, Huckabee pledged unwavering support for both the president and Israel, vowing not to abandon his post. “Our flag will NOT come down,” he declared. “You sent me to Israel to be your eyes, ears, and voice… I will not abandon this post.”

While French President Emmanuel Macron initially claimed Trump had returned to Washington to help broker a cease-fire, Trump denied that narrative. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, he said he wasn’t seeking a temporary cease-fire but “a real end” to the conflict.

Meanwhile, the rhetoric in the region remains tense. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in an interview with ABC News, stated that eliminating Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, would end the decades-long conflict.

“This regime… terrorizes everyone in the Middle East,” Netanyahu said. “We are going to continue until we remove the two existential threats: the nuclear threat and the threat of 20,000 ballistic missiles.”

Though the U.S. has refrained from officially entering the conflict, many believe American involvement is already taking shape behind the scenes. Netanyahu himself acknowledged America’s moral support, praising Trump’s stance.

“I understand ‘America First.’ I don’t understand ‘America Dead,'” Netanyahu said, referencing Iranian hostility toward the United States. “This is a battle of good against evil. America should—and does—stand with the good. That’s what President Trump is doing, and I deeply appreciate his support.”

As the world stands on edge, Huckabee’s call offers a reminder that in times of war and uncertainty, spiritual discernment remains vital—especially for those in power.

“Only ONE voice matters,” Huckabee reminded the president. “You will hear from heaven.”
