Salem Media Group has announced a new partnership with Donald Trump Jr. and Lara Trump. Salem, the Christian and conservative media company, currently hosts such popular conservative podcasts as “The Charlie Kirk Show,” “The Dinesh D’Souza Podcast,” and “Right View with Lara Trump.” Salem called the new partnership “a historic, multi-dimensional deal.” As part of the deal, Salem now owns a 30% stake in MxM News, a mobile news aggregation app co-owned by Trump Jr. In exchange, the platform has entered into “a long-term services agreement” with Trump Jr. to create “a series of high-impact promotional and growth initiatives.” Trump Jr. has a massive social media following, with 15 million followers on X and some speculation that he may follow in his father’s presidential footsteps, something Trump Jr. currently denies.

Salem has also partnered with Lara Trump “to collaborate on business growth in the digital podcast space, advertiser partnerships, and content innovation.” According to Salem, Lara Trump, who is married to Trump Jr.’s brother, Eric, will play a role as a “significant stakeholder” and assist with the company’s plans to expand. Mrs. Trump has also renewed her exclusive podcast agreement with Salem as part of the deal.

Both Trump Jr. and Lara Trump released statements about the deal. “Salem Media is positioned to become the home for fearless, unapologetic conservative content. I’m excited to help grow its audience and commercial footprint while building something that pushes back against legacy media with real reach and authenticity,” said Donald Trump Jr. Lara Trump stated that, “Conservatives are hungry for media that reflects their values, faith, freedom, and family. She affirmed her belief in the company’s goals and that she was “proud to contribute content that speaks truth without apology and builds real cultural influence.”

It’s a significant investment that could have wide-ranging political implications, given the credit President Trump’s appearances on popular podcasts such as “The Joe Rogan Experience” is given in helping him win the election. CEO of Salem Media Group, David Santrella, called the partnerships “power moves.” “Their alignment with Salem signals a massive leap forward in our ability to lead the next era of conservative media. Donald Trump Jr. and Lara Trump aren’t just becoming business partners with Salem, they now also have significant ownership stakes in the company with a major incentive to grow shareholder value which in turn will drive the stock price. It’s definitely an exciting time to be a Salem shareholder.”
