Question: Should I help my children learn to have a quiet time (learn to watch their thoughts and be silent)? The four-year old is a little young; the seven-year old doesn’t want to do it. Should I just leave them alone and practice going quiet myself?

Answer: Lead by example. Children not only see better than adults, but they can taste what they see in a way adults have forgotten about. If they “taste” your inner silence, they’ll want to be nourished in time by what they have seen.
