If your confidence for doing something is low, find what I call mental mentors. The people don’t know you’re looking to them to learn. They’re people who are perhaps getting what you want or they exude the kind of confidence you’d like, or they get kind of respect you’d like.
List at least 3 people who you admire. Next to each name, write the specific qualities of theirs that you wish you could have. Start thinking about why you don’t have them and how you can change that. You can try to emulate them and develop the characteristics you admire in them. And they never have to know!
