If someone asks me if I have a choice to meet anyone, my answer is always the same—his holiness, the Dalai Lama. His goodness leaves me in awe. His bubbly personality with a happy laugh is contagious. And he taught me to use compassion to temper my anger, as I discussed in my post Trading Anger for Joy and Compassion.

The Dalai Lama’s peaceful approach to forgiveness and caring is an inspiration to me. That’s why I occasionally enjoy watching his interview with Barbara Walters. It really shines a light on what he’s like and why I admire him so much. Below is that video. Pay attention to the joy in his attitude and you’ll understand why he’s such a happy man. We can learn a lot from this amazing man.
