I’m delighted to have Erica Nelson, author and happiness coach, with a wonderful tip from her book, Happiness Quotations: Gentle Reminders of Your Preciousness.

Happiness Quotation #98 Asks You To Glow Like Rudolph
By Erica M Nelson

Let’s say you are bright and shining but your friends can’t quite always get that. You have permission today to be the reindeer that shines because when things get foggier, you will be in great demand. Be bright like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in tales of old.

As you step into the vision of your own joy, your light shines. You may not always feel in harmony with others as you change. You are shedding onion skins, layer by layer. You are shedding past negativity and you are standing in fields of brighter and brighter sunshine.

Leaders on occasion become so bright that others may follow them. If you are bright, others will be thankful for the light you are shining. Yet, the expression of this may time lag.

Don’t let that stop you from leading with bright joy. Be a leader. When times grow dim, others will lean on your light, and you will be so happy you stayed bright and shiny. We can learn a lot from that little reindeer.

That is an excerpt from my new book “Happiness Quotations: Gentle Reminders of Your Preciousness.” As I looked through Daylle’s comforting, uplifting and inspiring blog, this concept of sharing your light with others showed up for me. How do you share your light? Are you being as bright as you can be? Your sentiments may go over really well, or sometimes, you may find resistance when you lead too fresh and others can’t quite get your wisdom.

I’m going to give you permission today to lead with your brightness, and glow like the reindeer.

Joy!
