Have you ever told a story that got you out of a traffic ticket? I’ll confess to one.
Once in seminary, while driving with Kris and our two little kids, I was pulled over by a policeman. I got out (which you aren’t to do these days) and said, “I’m glad you pulled me over. I’ve got two young kids for whom I’m responsible when I drive and I need to learn not to speed.” In essence the cop said, “Lesson learned. Slow it down.”

Thanks to Jim Lorence, my college buddy who told me of his story not unlike this one.
And I got this link to creative stop signs from Henriet’s blog.
