Today is March 12. My mom and I talked with Bob today! He is speaking aloud and feeling somewhat better — still needing pain meds at times. The trach came out on Friday. He is in the Special Care Unit at Mercy. He can sit up more and is eating, but not sleeping well.
Please pray that the doctors have wisdom about where and when to move him. He needs rehab either at Mercy or elsewhere. Bob needs to get through some long bouts of rehab to improve. Please pray for strength, desire and control of nausea. He is tiring of the hospital bed and hospital environment for sure.
I loved seeing his heart for his kids and Linda — cherishing them and talking of what a joy it is to have them visit.
