At the moment I’m in Tacoma, WA with the wonderful people of Youth For Christ Tacoma/West Puget Sound and Adoption Ministry of YWAM.

The brethren in this part of the country are responding in a big way to God’s call to care for orphans.  Today, I had the honor of speaking to rooms full of pastors and foster parents who are in the trenches seeking to empty out the foster care system of Washington.  In our country the church is divided by the barriers of race, class and denomination but God seems to be using orphan can to break down these barriers.  Saturday, I’ll be at University Place Presbyterian Church as Keynote for YFC Foster Care’s fundraising banquet.

Being here has me grateful for what God is doing in Colorado with Project 127:  89 chlidren placed–122 churches–258 families lined up.  The day is coming in America when there will be no more children waiting for families only families waiting for children.
