If God is the Father then who is the mother?

Nineteen thousand children "age out" of the foster care system in America each year.  That is, they turn 18 not knowing who will take them off to college or walk them down the aisle when the get married.  Last week, I heard a woman say that Christians need to stop saying that children have fallen through the cracks.  She said that speaking of the proverbial "crack" is not precise enough.  Rather, we should be honest as Christians and say, "They fell through the fingers of the bride of Christ!"

If God is the Father to the fatherless then who is their mother?

If God is the Father, then He is also a husband.  If God is a husband then he must have a bride.  The scriptures say that the church is the bride.  So then who is the mother to the orphans of the world?

Happy Mothers Day!
