The continued rise of women’s sports is gaining even more momentum—and now fans will have a new way to experience it live.

Ticketing giant StubHub announced this week that it is launching “HerSportsHub,” the first dedicated women’s sports ticket destination in the resale industry. The platform brings together tickets for leagues like the WNBA, the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL), NCAA Women’s Basketball, and more—giving fans a single place to discover and purchase tickets to women’s sporting events.

The launch coincides with Women’s History Month and reflects the explosive growth in interest surrounding women’s athletics in recent years, particularly following major global sporting events.

“HerSportsHub builds on the momentum we’re seeing, creating a centralized space for fans to discover and secure tickets across leagues,” said Jill Gonzalez, Head of Consumer Communications at StubHub. “Although the hub launches this week, it’s here to stay to provide access beyond Women’s History Month.”

The surge in demand has been especially noticeable after the Olympic Games, where women athletes have captivated audiences worldwide.

Following the 2026 Winter Olympics, interest in women’s hockey skyrocketed after Team USA defender Megan Keller scored a dramatic golden goal against Canada. StubHub reported that demand for Professional Women’s Hockey League tickets jumped nearly 60 percent immediately after the team’s gold medal win.

But the growth didn’t start there. Women’s sports saw massive gains after the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris as well. During that Olympic year, WNBA ticket demand surged more than 360 percent year over year, driven in part by the popularity of rising stars such as Caitlin Clark.

Meanwhile, the National Women’s Soccer League also experienced a dramatic surge. Ticket demand for NWSL games jumped more than 150 percent during the Olympics, and eight WNBA and NWSL teams experienced at least 215 percent spikes in online searches following the Paris Games.

The momentum only continued after the Olympic closing ceremonies. In the 30 days following the Paris Olympics, demand accelerated again—rising 170 percent in the WNBA and an astonishing 330 percent in the NWSL.

StubHub also reported a dramatic shift in the audience itself. Nearly 200 percent more buyers purchased women’s sports tickets in the month following the Paris Games, and notably, 88 percent of those buyers were first-time women’s sports purchasers. Multi-game buyers also nearly tripled, showing that many new fans were eager to come back for more.

To celebrate the launch of HerSportsHub, StubHub is hosting a watch party on April 4 in Brooklyn for the NWSL’s Gotham FC match against the Kansas City Current. The event will take place at Blazers, a woman-owned sports bar.

During the event, StubHub will also announce the first recipient of StubHub Access: New York, a $100,000 youth ticket fund designed to give young sports fans the opportunity to experience live sporting events.

The excitement surrounding women’s sports has even begun spilling over into mainstream entertainment. Over the weekend, Olympic hockey stars Megan Keller and Hilary Knight made a special appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” joining NHL players Jack and Quinn Hughes in a moment that highlighted the growing cultural spotlight on the sport.

For many fans, the rapid growth of women’s athletics reflects a deeper cultural shift—one that celebrates perseverance, opportunity and the God-given talents of female athletes who are inspiring a new generation.

With HerSportsHub, StubHub hopes to make it easier than ever for fans to cheer them on.
