A group of Cuban pastors have found a way to share God’s Word during the Coronavirus by printing Bible verses on the front of sanitary masks, World Help reports.

Christians in Cuba are wearing this mask and are now able to share the message of God’s love through this creative effort while also saving lives.

Pastors have printed these messages despite the severe suppression that Christians face in the communist country according to Babalu Blog, a website dedicated to Cuban global community news.

The pastors connected with Vernon Brewer, the CEO and Founder of World Health, a Christian humanitarian aid organization to get their idea off the ground.

“We don’t want to miss an opportunity to continue witnessing for the Lord,” the pastors told Brewer as they put Philippians 4:13 and Acts 16:31 on different masks, written in Spanish.

“They ordered 1,000 face masks printed with Bible verses to wear and hand out,” Brewer said. “Now, each person wearing them will share the gospel to those who are looking for help spiritually – without even saying a word!

“What an incredible witness. Their faith reminds us that, even when everything seems to be going wrong, God is still at work and we can put our hope in him,” Brewer added.

While Cuba is officially an atheist state, Cuba has allowed some Catholic activity after the Vatican began seeking closer relations to the Castro regime, but Protestants, dissident Catholics and other Christian groups face regular threats and arrests on the part of state security, Breitbart reports.
