“God kept us safe, God kept us alive,” Kenneth Bryant told Fox 8 in Cleveland.

Bryant was one of two men who were nearly killed in an abandoned roadside vehicle. Both men believe the voice of God told them to jump out just moments before they were hit.

Bryant and the second passenger, Jordan Cole were driving a food truck from Montana to a pastor’s conference in Philadelphia when it broke down on the Ohio Turnpike. The two men stayed with the truck while others tried to get help.

At the time, Cole was in the cab of the truck and Bryant was in the back, Bryant told Fox 8. He was using a generator in the back to charge their cellphones.

Out of nowhere, they felt an overwhelming need to jump. Bryant called it a vision. Just second later, their truck was hit and destroyed by an 18-wheeler. Their vehicle was completely mangled.

“We heard a voice, and it was to get out of truck and I look down and I saw a semi swerving toward us,” Cole said.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers say with complete certainty that the two men would have been killed had they stayed.

“We’ve come to the conclusion that it was Jesus,” Bryant said. “He allowed this to happen for me to be able to share this story…for people to know that our Heavenly Father is mindful of us.”
