For fans, Star Wars Day 2010 arrives and provokes reflections on religion and popular culture.

In this final installment of the “Shrek” series, the ogre finds himself in an alternate reality in which he never existed and must work to go back to the correct time or risk disappearing forever. The movie features the voices of Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy and releases May 21, 2010.

Based on the best-selling children’s book series by Beverly Cleary, the film focuses on the young Ramona, the adventures and mishaps she gets herself into, and her older sister Beezus who encourages her to be imaginative and creative. The film stars Selena Gomez and Joey King and opens July 23, 2010.
