New Kids on the Block and “Blue Bloods” star Donnie Wahlberg is praising God after a harrowing incident where a private jet he had boarded ran off the runway. Wahlberg was flying out of Harry Reid International Airport after the New Kids on the Block had wrapped up their Las Vegas residency when the plane failed to take off into the air. The Harry Reid reported on it on social media. “At approximately 11 a.m., upon departure, a general aviation aircraft skid off runway 1L at LAS and made contact with the perimeter fence. There are no known injuries at this time. Runways 1R and 1L will be closed for inspection, and travelers may experience some delays. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.”

Wahlberg acknowledged on his Instagram that he had received concerned messages about the flight. “Yes, it was me and my team/friends onboard the aircraft. It was a rather intense few moments (which felt like a few long minutes),” wrote Wahlberg. “Thankful to God, of course, and to our incredible pilots who did an amazing job of keeping us safe and avoiding a serious disaster,” he added, writing that the plane did “take some lumps” but that everyone on board was uninjured. He also praised emergency personnel and ended by writing, “All glory to God! By His grace, we are all ok.” Speaking on the video he posted, Wahlberg described the incident. “We were taking off and didn’t get up in the air and ran out of runway. I’m just going to tell you these pilots saved our lives. And God covered us… We just finished praying, and I looked out the window and said, we are not getting up in the air today. But we’re safe and thankful and all is well.” The plane was able to avoid multiple vehicles before ultimately crashing its wing into a fence.

According to People, there were 8 people aboard the plane, a Dassault Falcon 50 bound for Toronto Pearson Airport in Canada. TMZ reported that one of those passengers was Amy Jo Johnson, known for her role as the original pink Power Ranger from “The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers”, Kimberly Hart. Johnson shared pictures of the incident, writing that she had been attending the concert prior to the crash. “It was an eventful weekend. That’s for sure. Watching the incredible @donniewahlberg and his mates crush it in their last show in Vegas,” she wrote. “And then surviving a very hairy plane situation. But we did. And I’m grateful and very happy to be alive!” Her post included a picture of what appeared to be Wahlberg praying with pilots.
