Chris Pratt is once again reminding the world where his true priorities lie.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star recently took to Instagram to share a playful video listing the “things I can’t live without. ” Nestled among the top 10 essentials like oxygen, food, and even the NFL was a name that stood out: “Jesus.”
“Just the essentials,” Pratt, 46, captioned the post, which featured his “glam team” prepping him for an appearance. “What can you not live without?” he asked his 45 million followers.

It’s not the first time Pratt has publicly acknowledged his faith in Christ, but the simple inclusion of Jesus in a list meant to engage his fanbase serves as another quiet but bold witness in a culture that often shies away from faith conversations.
Earlier this year, Pratt told The Christian Post that he cares “enough about Jesus to take a stand, even if it costs me,” adding, “It could cost me everything, but I don’t care.” For Pratt, it’s worth it. “This is what I’m called to do, it’s where my heart is,” he said.
Pratt has also shared that his faith solidified in 2012 when his son was born prematurely with severe health issues. “He really saved my son, and that was the moment [my faith] was cemented,” Pratt explained. “My heart softened, and my faith hardened. That was the moment I was like, ‘Moving forward, I’m going to give my platform to God.'”
The actor has said that he wants to use his platform to encourage other believers to be unashamed of their faith while reaching those who don’t yet know Jesus. “I want to affirm the people who are believers in Christ. I want them to hear me and say, ‘Wow, that’s cool. He’s willing to say it. I’m going to stand up at work today and say it,” Pratt said. “I want to be a light to people who’ve never seen light.”
Even in the face of criticism for his beliefs, Pratt maintains a Christ-like response, choosing to pray for those who don’t understand him. “If people don’t understand me, I’m going to pray for them, and then I’m going to go back and hang out with my kids and play tag,” he shared.
Pratt has also spoken about God’s protection in his family’s life, including when his home survived devastating wildfires in California earlier this year. “By the grace of God, we still have four walls and a roof,” Pratt told followers, later adding, “We trust in God and consider it all a blessing.”
