Popular Twitch streamer, Ninja, made a bold declaration for Christ on a recent stream. Tyler Belvins AKA Ninja has over 19 million followers on Twitch, where he recently said on a stream, “Jesus is king. Even if you don’t think He is, don’t judge me for it and I won’t judge you for it. I do, I just feel it’s so crazy, man.” He also said he prays every day. Belvins went on to give his philosophy of how to share one’s faith. “This is just about life, when you’re talking to somebody and you’re having a conversation. That’s an important conversation, right? There’s two sides to it, definitely. When you’re talking to someone, don’t talk to that person to change their mind…You’re just talking to them, right? And if you end up changing their mind, that’s great,” he said.

Despite having such a large platform, Belvins stated he didn’t want to “push anything” on his followers. “I love you all no matter what. And in the chat, we respect all religions, all people…Someone has no religion? We love everybody, dude.” He admonished his followers to “the most important thing.” “You’ve just gotta love everybody. And I mean everybody. It’s all about respect and never belittling someone else’s faith, no matter what it is,” he said.

Belvins also focused on the idea of changing oneself without having to be coerced. “We don’t need something like the threat of the end of times to start becoming better humans and developing a relationship with the Lord.” He shared that starting the habit of praying every night had definitely given him “a better mindset.” Belvins has talked about his faith in the past, such as in a special Mother’s Day message to his mother in 2019. “You always taught me that God has a plan, and for that I thank you so much, and I love you so much for that,” he said. He has also spoken about how his mom was encouraged to abort him. “I was not supposed to be born, potentially. A lot of the doctors told my mom that I had spina bifida or Down syndrome or a number of diseases, and that I should be aborted,” he said. He finished his declaration with a note of love to his followers. “I love my life. I’m blessed, I love you guys. I’m blessed to have you guys here.”
