Singer Tori Kelly has been released from the hospital after spending more than a week in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles getting treatment for blood clots. She shared a series of photos to Instagram to let her followers know that she is at home recovering. The photos consisted of Kelly and her two beloved dogs, Frodo and Dobby, along with photos of the gifts from friends and family sent to her while she was in the hospital. She captioned the post, “home sweet home.” In one photo, she shared a card that was “written” by her dogs, likely with the help of her husband Andre Murillo, saying “Love you mom!!! Get better soon,” with their paw prints on the card. In another photo, Kelly shared a screenshot of a text conversation with likely a manager that read “Hi! Hope you’re feeling good! Beyonce sent flowers to the house. No one was home so they left them under this tree,” where Kelly responded “ummmm…beyonce?” The next photo she shared was of herself with dozens of white roses.

Last week, Kelly reportedly fainted while out to dinner with friends in downtown LA. The singer fainted after she felt her heartbeat quicken. Sources told TMZ that she was “out for a while” and her condition was “really serious,” even saying she was reportedly “in and out of consciousness.” She was rushed to the hospital where doctors found blood clots around her lungs and legs. Days later, Kelly took to X (previously Twitter) to share an update on her health. In the handwritten note shared to her account with the caption “Deuteronomy 31:8” Kelly said, “Hi friends … as you may have heard, I’m dealing with some unexpected health challenges. It’s been a scary few days but I can feel your prayers & can’t stop thinking about you.” She continued by saying, I’m feeling stronger now & hopeful but unfortunately there are still some things to uncover. I’m so grateful for the amazing doctors & nurses who have been looking after me.” Despite her health challenges, Kelly still released her new EP, “Tori,” on Friday. “Of course I’m heartbroken about all of the things I had planned for this week of releasing my EP, but I know my health must come first,” she continued. “Until i see you again, I still want you to enjoy a project that represents the happy place I’ve been in the last few years. I won’t let this hurdle prevent the music from yours on Friday!”
