Would you take it if you were given a second chance at life? Are there things you regret doing or not doing, and would you allow yourself to follow your dreams? That’s the premise of the Pure Flix film “Nothing Is Impossible.” In the movie, we meet Scott Beck, a high school janitor whose life isn’t going the way he expected. His dreams of playing basketball in the NBA and marrying his dream girl failed, and he spends his days dreaming of what could’ve been.

However, he receives a second chance at love and his NBA dreams. David A.R. White, who plays Scott Beck and is a co-founder of Pure Flix, says that second chances are a message that resonates with everyone. White says, “Anyone who says they don’t need a second chance should give it a minute. I love this film; I’m such a fan of movies about dreams and dreams that seem like they’ve been missed or haven’t been achieved yet, but there’s always that second chance.” White also says that life is full of second chances; it’s just a matter of not stopping and moving forward, even in the midst of our struggles and hardships.

White says that Pure Flix had humble beginnings. He and two other men started the company in a garage in 2005. Their goal was to make movies that inspire and uplift the human spirit and ultimately give people a higher level of insight into who God is and the purpose He has for their lives.

For White, “Nothing Is Impossible” is a film that’s dear to his heart because it almost didn’t happen. White says he’s been working on the movie for nearly a decade, and it went through numerous script revisions. White said, “In the process of that, it had been stopped a lot. It seems like I would get all the way to the finish line, it would be funded, then something would happen, and for whatever reason, it would get set back.” He also says that sports are only one aspect of this film; it also centers around romance and the lives and struggles of other characters in the movie.

The film also discusses Beck allowing his past to affect his future. As for why people allow that to happen, White says it all starts with our relationship with God and how we view that God views us. White said, “God loves us first and foremost. He created us in His image. Yet so often, we have things in life that have molded and shaped our thoughts. God has an unbelievable plan for us, and we have to get out of our way to see that and accept His love for us.”

Like the goal of Pure Flix Entertainment to uplift and encourage viewers, White says he wants viewers to be inspired and motivated after watching “Nothing is Impossible,” but he also wants them to have fun. White continued, “We can’t forget that we make movies to entertain first and foremost. From there, you hope it inspires and uplifts the human spirit and that people walk away from it moved, changed, and encouraged.” If you want to feel motivated and encouraged, “Nothing Is Impossible” is the perfect film for you. It’s available for streaming on Pure Flix.
