Many fans will remember the Wonder story, a film adapted from the New York Times best-seller with the same name about Auggie Pullman, a young boy born with facial differences. Though people make fun of Auggie and he struggles with public school, Auggie manages to change his life and the lives of those around him. Now, supporters should prepare for the next chapter of the Wonder series.

White Bird: A Wonder Story tells the story of Julian, who’s struggled with his place in the world since being expelled from school for bullying Auggie Pullman. Julian’s grandmother, played by Helen Mirren, shares her story of bravery and courage that blows his mind. While growing up in Nazi-occupied France, a boy saves her from danger. They find love in their own magical world while the boy’s mother risks everything to keep her safe.

White Bird: A Wonder Story shows how one act of kindness can change your life. The film hits theaters this October. For more information on the film, click here.
