Their rock and roll gospel attracts young people who are looking for a new way to believe in something. The church completely changed the way people worshipped and is credited for creating a Jesus revolution that changed the world. Over six million people have attended the Harvest Christian Fellowship.

The real Greg Laurie expressed his excitement for the film because it doesn’t focus on him but instead the movement and the meaning of their relationship with Jesus.

“This film is not primarily about Chuck Smith, Lonnie Frisbee, Cathe Laurie, or me. It’s about how Jesus moved and sent a spiritual awakening in our lives that are still being felt today. Greg said.

Alongside Grammer, the film features Joel Courtney (Super8) as Laurie, Jolie Jenkins, Ally Loannides, Julia Campbell, The Chosen’s” Jonathan Roumie, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley (“According to Jim”) The film was written by Joe Gunn and Jon Erwin. Erwin’s notable works include I Can Only Imagine, and. American Underdog.

Erwin boasted of Grammer’s ability to captivate audiences through his very vulnerable portrayal of Smith trying to find a deeper meaning in life. The way the community was able to restore faith in such a broken world and time is beyond beautiful and special.

“It was a time of fear and doubts in a generation that was looking for all the right things but in the wrong places. came to the end of themselves. It was just a powerful move of God that was undeniable and it shaped culture and it shaped America. We haven’t experienced anything like it.” Said Erwin.

Grammer has credited his Christian faith for helping him overcome addiction in the past. The former “Frazier star struggled with alcohol and substance abuse after the death of his 18-year-old sister when he was just twenty years old. The pair were quite close and her death caused Grammer to spiral out of control. The actor was able to turn his life around after completely surrendering to Jesus Christ.
