These pobrandypular celebrities are reflecting on God in 2017 and using their platform to not only celebrate their love for Jesus, but also share the influence of God in their lives. Jesus has pulled these celebrities through some of life’s biggest storms and they have been moved to spread that message with their fans. Here are six celebrities who have started the New Year reflecting God to their fans.

Candace Cameron-Bure

The former “Full House” child star is a passionate Christian and enthusiastic about her faith, openly sharing her passion for Jesus with others. The 40-year-old actress who experienced some really great professional opportunities in 2016 is giving all praise to God who she believes has given her blessings far beyond a successful career.

“2016 was a pretty incredible year for the Bure’s. We had many milestones including my 40th birthday, our 20 year anniversary, Natasha’s 18th birthday and graduation from high school,” She wrote on Instagram. “’Fuller House’ seasons 1 & 2 premiered on Netflix with outrageously high viewership with a season 3 pick up and I co-hosted my last episode on ‘The View.’ I thank God for all the opportunities.”

Tamera Mowry-Housley

Tamera Mowry-Housley who first gained fame for her teen role as Tamera Campbell on the sitcom Sister, Sister opposite her identical twin Tia Mowry, is learning to trust in the Lord’s timing. The 38-year-old actress who co-hosts the hit daytime talk show “The Real,” is beginning 2017 with God as her focus. She told her fans on Instagram: “This year was pretty amazing! Of course each year has its own challenges. But each year I’m learning to trust in the Lord’s timing and His on my life. Can’t wait to see what the next year brings. I’m ready!”

Romeo Miller

Romeo Miller, the son of rap mogul Master P who created hip-hop music label No Limit Records in the ‘90s, is focusing on God’s peace in 2017. After a 2015 lawsuit from his mother Sonya Miller spilled over into 2016, it is great to see that the rapper, entrepreneur and “Empire” actor is concentrating on peace and love in the New Year. He wrote on Instagram: “Walking in to 2017 with nothing but peace in my heart.” He took his post a step further by sharing his peace with his fans in the form of Bible study notes, highlighting Romans 5 which addresses three forms of peace: spiritual peace, emotional peace and peace with others.

Brandy Norwood

The 36-year-old R&B singer is beginning the New Year with a greater understanding of who she is in God. She took to Instagram to share how she understands her God given purpose more and more each day. Despite some pretty tough circumstance, she has turned to God, openly sharing her testimony with her fans.

“I’ve been lost, deep in bondage, suicidal and didn’t know how to call on the Most High because I didn’t believe I had the right words to be heard,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m here now more certain than I have ever been and I have arrived at a true understanding of my purpose, worth, and an unconditional love and compassion for myself. A true God becoming talent that I will only use for my contribution in healing all of myself and all around the world. #2017”
Plumb

Plumb

Last year was pretty tough for Christian singer, Plumb who recently lost a key member of her family. Despite last year being difficult for her, the 41-year-old singer has learned a lot from it. She is trusting in God and moving forward with optimism.

“I had a year that started out very uncomfortable and ended with tremendous growth. From that growth came some sadness from some of those things coming to an end…,” Plumb wrote on Instagram. She then captioned an Instagram image that reads “what is coming is better than what is gone.” She then wrote, “So this encouraged me to look forward to what is to come this new year…maybe it will be for you as well.”

Christon Gray

The Christian rapper, whose music was everywhere last year from ESPN to HBO, Fox and Honda commercials, has decided to give God complete control over his life. Instead of being focused on charting his own career, Gray has decided in the New Year to allow God to write his story.

“2016. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,” Gray wrote on Instagram. “But I’m going to stop trying to write the rest of the story God already wrote. It’s time to watch my own movie.”
