With much anticipation after the smash hit, The Bible, now you can get a glimpse of another epic story–A.D.

A snapshot can be viewed of this new series during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC. It will be a first look from executive producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey that will premiere on Easter 2015. Season 1 of A.D. takes viewers through the first 10 chapters of the Book of Acts, gives insight on the disciples after Jesus’ departure, and the early church.

Mamma Mia actor Juan Pablo di Pace will play Jesus, Babou Ceesay will play John, Adam Levy will be Peter, Mary will be played by Greta Scacchi and Chipo Chung is Mary Magdalene in this diverse cast.

“Christianity is among the most diverse movements in history, so when Mark and I looked to bring this epic story of A.D. to life on NBC. It was important to us to find a cast as diverse and beautiful as the church is around the world. We look forward to sharing these amazing performances with our audience, and in them we hope that people see themselves,” said Downey.

Don’t forget to check out the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC Thursday and don’t miss this exciting opportunity to see a clip from A.D.
