This is message from Dr. Ed Young, senior pastor of Houston’s 2nd Baptist church. And, after you read this message, you’ll find that he’s pretty jazzed about the new film “Seven Days in Utopia” which is playing in theaters right now. Unlike most secular films, this one actually seems to be winning people to Christ! Read on!

This past summer, we had the privilege of having Dr. David Cook speak at our various campuses. A foremost sports psychologist, Dr. Cook has worked with many of the Fortune 500 companies including Exxon, Xerox and Hewlett Packard. He also has worked with professional athletes, including the San Antonio Spurs during their championship years. As he told the story of how God inspired him to write Golf’s Sacred Journey and how that book then became the movie, Seven Days in Utopia, we were amazed to see God’s hand at work.

Seven Days in Utopia has now opened in theaters across the nation and is being used in a powerful way by God. The movie helps take the biggest handicap we have in our lives – our sin and rebellion against God – and completely eliminate it and make it “scratch.” This is one of the finest movies you will find on any subject.

The good news is Seven Days in Utopia is rated G and is being used as a powerful evangelistic tool. Since the film’s release just four days ago, more than 250,000 people have visited Dr. Cook’s web site more than 1,000 people have and “buried their lies” and received Christ as Savior and Lord. God is using this vehicle in the secular world to share His Truth about Jesus Christ. I encourage all pastors to tell their congregations about this evangelistic opportunity.
