A big shout out to Idol Chatter blogger and resident vampire fanatic Donna Freitas who was recently interviewed by two newspapers about the evolution of the fanged creatures.
In the Michigan-based newsletter The Macomb Daily she spoke about how vampires have moved away from being vicious and have begun trying to battle the dark within them.

“What’s happened is that even these evil creatures are reaching for goodness,” Donna said.
She also told Florida’s The Oscala Star-Banner that the vampire “struggle is classic in humanity; it’s a lot of what we do against our darker nature. To see it through them, fantasy creatures, adds a romantic quality.”
