Sometimes you want to run and hide, but there is no place to go.
Life is challenging when it is challenging and wonderful when it is wonderful.  These are the ebbs and flows of life and over the past few days Mother Nature has ravaged the eastern United States.

The whole country and the world are witnessing the massive destruction of Hurricane Sandy.  The damage is widespread and effecting millions of people.  Yet in the midst of these toughest of times, tougher people are revealing themselves.  You are inspirations to us.  Although there is flooding, no power, no heat and so many are lacking shelter and have even lost their homes, you are finding ways to carry on, to help each other and to move forward.  It is awesome!  This is the resilience and magnificence of the human spirit.

Nothing anyone could say can make it better or change the situation.  There is great destruction, loss of lives and homes.  Yet these acts of nature happen and we can only respond.  People helping each other, making a difference and overcoming.  This is even more powerful than Hurricane Sandy.

“Tough times don’t last, tough people do!”
