People who succeed have very different beliefs than people who fail.  Our beliefs about who and what we are and what we are capable of greatly impact our thoughts, words, self-image, actions and results in life.  Beliefs can be a guiding principle along with faith and passion that give direction and meaning to our lives.  Beliefs either empower us or destroy us.  When we congruently believe something it commands our brain to represent what is happening in a certain way.

There are many pitfalls of pride and ego.  We are human beings having a spiritual experience here on earth.  Sometimes we are more human than divine.  Being human comes with the lessons we are given (or choose) in The Game of Life.  It is up to us to receive these lessons fully.  At times, we can be tempted to come from our ego, pride or arrogance and think that we are actually in charge of our world or of others or that we do not have to follow proper principles.  As much as we do our best and have total faith and belief, God or the universe always has the final say.

No matter how much we want something, when it is meant to be it is meant to be and will happen.  What do we truly control in this world?  Do you know if you will even wake up tomorrow?  Do you have any control over what is going to happen in this moment or the next?  There is a higher power or greater force at work.  We are a part of it.

When we choose to let our ego take over, trouble always follows.  When wonderful things and results start to happen, our egos can take charge and fill our minds with false beliefs and realities and very quickly, we destroy and lose the wonderful accomplishments because we are off balance and try to make ourselves more than we are.  It is essential as we grow and achieve wonderful things to remain balanced, centered and humble and know that there is a higher power at work.  When we think it is all us and take total credit for something without acknowledging a Higher Power or others who have contributed along the way, we disconnect from our source.

Be careful, for the ego can destroy everything that you have built.
Thank God for everything that you are blessed with and stay humble and sincere.  Let go of the ego.

smiles,
🙂 Lee
