Mchael Blosil, the adopted son of singer Marie Osmond and her ex-husband Brian Blosil, allegedly commited suicide on Friday night. Blosil apparently suffered from depression. He left behind a suicide note.
The 18-year-old reportedly jumped from either the roof or balcony of his apartment building. His friends told In Touch Weekly that they had been with him just moments before his death.
Blosil’s roommate, Sean Srnik, told the magazine that Blosil received a phone call at about 9:15 PM and left the room. Smik contunues, that another friend, Ruth Ann, “ran in and asked, ‘Where’s Michael?’. We knew something was wrong. She grabbed the note and as soon as she started reading it, she started hysterically crying. I read the first three sentences of the note, and I realized exactly what was going on. While I was reading, she went to the balcony because she heard sirens. She looked down, and that’s when she saw Michael.”

An autopsy has been performed on Blosil; toxicology reports are pending.
Despite her constant smile, Osmond has suffered numerous ups and downs in her private life, including an eating disorder as a teenager, a marriage and divorce to Stephen Craig, postpartum depression, and her most recenty divorce from Brian Blosil.
Our prayers go out to the Osmond and Blosil families.
