In yesterday’s reading, we were introduced to the dietary law, and what a law it is!
It’s something that I’ve been interested in, ever since I read the book Holy Cow!, by Hope Egan. Hope is a Messianic Jew, and offers a very interesting Christian perspective on the Jewish dietary law, and why it’s something perhaps we should still be following, both for spiritual and medical reasons. (You can learn more at the Holy Cow website.)
And here are the readings for today, February 21, 2010:

Leviticus 13:1-59
Psalm 25:16-22
Proverbs 10:4-5
Mark 3:1-19
You can find all of the passages at BibleGateway.com.
And if you’ve missed some readings, here are the lists:
February 2010
January 2010
