Thanks for those of you who played along last night during American Idol while I blogged live during round one of the Top 36 performances!
After watching the live performances, I stand by my predictions: top guy, Danny Gokey; top girl, Alexis Grace; second hightest Anoop Desai.
But here’s what’s interesting: last night had two church worship leaders and a former gospel singer pitted against each other. Danny Gokey is involved in music ministry at FaithBuilders International in Milwaukee. Michael Sarver leads a praise team at Harvest Church in Texas. And Ricky Braddy used to sing with a gospel group Step of Faith, and attended Christian college Belmont University which specializes in Christian-based music education.
