If you’ve been to a Texas Rangers game recently and wondered about the song playing when outfielder Josh Hamilton takes the field, wonder no more.
The song is “Saved the Day,” from Phillips, Craig and Deans’ 2006 INO Records’ release Top of My Lungs.
Hamilton recently told the Fort Worth Star Telegram, “So many people have asked about it. The Rangers get e-mails all the time asking ‘What song was that?’ I’ve had a lot of people say they love the song.”
Currently leading the Major Leagues in RBIs, Hamilton, dubbed the Rangers’ “Miracle Man,” believes the song reflects his strong faith in Jesus Christ and in the transforming power of the gospel.
