Oh, Lord, there is so much noise in my heart and in my world.  It is becoming more difficult to hear you, to sense your presence in my life, to focus my spirit on what matters most.

Please, Lord, here and now, bring quiet. Let your peace fill my soul and enable me to block out the noise, the negativity, the distraction that keep me from you. Help my eyes to see your presence and my ears to hear your voice.

Speak to me, Lord, in the quiet, the blessed quiet, and bring me closer to you.
