1. Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming documentary and awards contender Good Night Oppy tells the true and uplifting story about Opportunity, a rover that was sent to Mars for a 90-day mission but ended up surviving for 15 years. The film follows Opportunity’s groundbreaking journey on Mars and the remarkable bond forged between a robot and her humans millions of miles away. Following a limited theatrical run on November 4th, the film lands on Prime Video on November 23rd

2. Global Digital Releasing has announced that the digital  release of its new documentary Elephant Refugees will be on November 18th. The film demonstrates that elephants are extraordinarily emotional beings. They are conscious of themselves as individuals. They feel joy, experience sadness, pain, pleasure and grief. They cry real tears and exhibit beautiful qualities of compassion and protection. Sad stat: One African elephant is killed every 15 minutes that equals 40,000 a year. Africa’s total estimated elephant population is less than 400,000. If the killing continues; elephants will be extinct in 10 years.

3.  The aerial epic Devotion (based on the bestselling book of the same name) recounts the harrowing true story of Jesse Brown, the first African American aviator to complete the U.S. Navy’s basic flight training program, He flew  in the Korean War and was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross. Devotion debuts exclusively in theaters on November 18th.

4. The Wingfeather Saga, an animated series based on the award-winning bestselling novels by the same name (the #1 crowdfunded animated family series of all time), is a family-friendly redemptive fantasy created by a team of veteran artists hailing from studios like Pixar, Dreamworks Animation, Disney, Blue Sky and Nickelodeon. The new show, distributed by Angel Studios,  officially launches December 2nd  with a total of 6 episodes planned for Season 1 releasing between December 2022 to February 2023.

5. Distributed by Fathom Events, Sony Affirm’s 5000 Blankets debuts in more than 700 theaters nationwide December 12th and 13th. Inspired by a remarkable true story, the film tells the story of a man who disappeared following a mental breakdown and the relentless search to find him by his wive and son. Tickets are on sale now.

6. Jesus Revolution arrives in theaters nationwide on February 24th. Hailing from Kingdom Story Company and Lionsgate, the 1970s-set film tells the true story of a young Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney), charismatic hippie-street-preacher  is searching for all the right things in all the wrong places: until he meets Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie) and Pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammer) who together took Smith’s  t languishing church to an unexpected revival that led to what Time Magazine, in 1971, dubbed a “Jesus Revolution.”
