Here’s today’s dispatch from the crossroads of faith, media and culture.

In case you missed it…Here’s last night’s live Google + Hangouts event  featuring Kathie Lee Gifford hosting an hour-long Q&A with Son of God producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett. Also on hand were Diogo Morgado (who, of course, played Jesus in both the movie and The Bible miniseries it grew out of), Eduardo Verástegui (the Bella actor who provided the voice of Jesus in the Spanish-language in the film’s Spanish-language edition) and Pastor Erwin Raphael McManus of LA’s MOSAIC Church.  In his book The Artisan Soul, McManus suggests that creativity (which comes from God) is the essence of what makes us human.

Encourage one another and build each other up – 1 Thessalonians 5:11
