Inalienable rights are different from rights that come by human approval. They are from the divine.

The inalienable right to liberty isn’t given to us by laws of the land. Liberty is ours. And, we can make laws that express the ideal of liberty.

Inalienable rights from God also include the right to interpret words and laws to bring out liberty.

I have found that my interpretation of words and laws are more correct when I remember the very human words and laws themselves are fallible, subject to change, subject to progress.

When raising children, I couldn’t treat each child the exact same. I looked at the individual child and the current circumstance to make immediate decisions for their freedom and safety.
